Camping Virgen del Mar

The campground was situated in a beautiful area a couple kilometers away from the city of Santander. Lots of cliffs giving a spectacular view of the ocean. There is a park and a little island with a church which attracts the locals. There is one restaurant on the campground and two located within 5 min walking distance. The campground itself is old and is very tight in places. Getting past the reception area with a Fiat Ducato RV we had about 20 cm to spare in width. If you have an RV with 7,00 m in length or more it is would be extremely tough to get into the spaces if at all. The spaces themselves are nicely placed and taken care of. There are a lot of small trees between the parcels which do cause some issues with parking. The sanitary area is extremely old, but clean.

Super Platz am Meer. Idealer Ausgangsort für Santander und die umliegenden Küstenabschnitte, mit dem E-Bike ideal.
Die sanitären Anlagen sind sehr gut ausgestattet und blitzsauber.
Die Plätze für Camper sind allerdings etwas schmal, für 1-2 Nächte aber ok.
Der Platz ist gut unterhalten, das Meer ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Wir können ihn nur empfehlen
