Smithson Farm

Welcome to Smithson Farm Caravan and Camping Site. The site is situated on 1.2 Acres of level land overlooking picturesque open countryside set in the heart of Lancashire. Smithson Farm was built in the early 1700s and is a typical Lancashire Longhouse Farm set in 11 acres. Harry and Carole Johnson bought the farm in 2004 and since then have carried out and continue to carry out restorations to continuously improve the area. The farm is set on the outskirts of Burnley in the Hamlet of Reedley Hallows in the Heart of Pendle Witch Country within easy reach of the villages of Barley, Newchurch in Pendle, Roughlee and Barrowford. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area and we regularly see Bats, Buzzards, Kestrels, Rabbits and many other species. Our own hens roam freely and will become regular visitors if you feed them any scraps. With lots to see and do in the immediate and surrounding areas we are the perfect choice. Facilities include quality tiled toilets comprising of two unisex cubicles and two washbasins as well as one larger cubicle suitable for people with disabilities, with a washbasin and shower. There is a covered outside washing up facility, a CDP point and a drinking water point.
