Good location , 15 min walk into a lovely town , you can walk along the stream which is great if you have dogs , we got here 25/9 and no facilities were available, shower/ toilet blocks locked , electric turned off!! Stayed here 2 nights free of charge wild camping. Didn’t go to the lake so can’t comment . I would come back again as love the location although it’s a very small field so in season it would fill up pretty quick
