SF-Caravan Hietajärvi

The Hietajärvi caravan area is located in Kiihtelysvaara, Joensuu, in a scenic location on the shores of the clear-water Hietajärvi Lake. The terrain in our area is a canopy forest and the surroundings offer great hiking trails and berry and mushroom picking. In winter, there are also cross-country skiing trails. The association's boats are free to use and you can get information about fishing permits from our area. A fenced children's playground is located near our gently sloping beach. During the summer season, there is a kiosk in our area. The smoke sauna heats up on summer Saturdays. There are separate saunas for men and women, which are wood-heated. There is also a sauna on request for 10 €/hour. Saunas are warm in the summer from 18:00 to 22:00, different sauna times in the winter. The village of Kiihtelysvaara is about 2 km away. The village has a shop, pharmacy and bank, among other things.
