Stay the Night - Scotland
Stay the Night is a program by the Scottish Forestry and Land Scotland that allows travelers with motorhomes and campervans to stay overnight in designated parking areas in forests and nature reserves. It was created to meet the growing demand for camping spots during the summer season while directing wild camping to reduce the impact on nature and local residents. The offer is usually valid from April to October and is limited to one night per location. It is exclusively for self-sufficient vehicles (with their own toilet and waste tank), as there is no infrastructure such as toilets or waste disposal available. https://forestryandland.gov.scot/stay-the-night
