Valen Ranch

Valen Ranch PopUp Glamping and RV Park is a brand new, small campsite under development. Our goal is to create more glamping options and offer different RV parks in our area. We are now at the starting line of this project, and in the beginning the facilities will be of the simple variety. Nevertheless, we hope to be able to create magical moments, good experiences and nice memories for everyone who decides to visit us – and to beautiful Valen in the municipality of Kvinnherad. Where the steep mountain slopes flatten out and the valley opens up, lies the village of Valen in the municipality of Kvinnherad in Vestland. Here, Ranchen is located in the middle of the "smørauga" (the butter eye), facing the sun and with a view out over Høylandsunde towards Halsnøy. At the Ranch we open up RV parking on parts of the riding track from June to August. Here you can park between the fjord and the mountains and enjoy the view over the highlands strait. Glamping Our tents are beautifully situated on the Ranchen, surrounded by mountains, horse pastures and sea views. There are great hiking areas nearby, and it is a short walk to the beach, mountains and local shops. In the evening you can sit in front of your tent and enjoy yourself around the fire, look out over Høylandsundet towards Halsnøy, hear horses neighing nearby – and if you are lucky, the moon will rise and reflect in the strait.
