Iskibi Kanpina

Looking for a small, quiet camping ground was not easy around San Sebastian with its large surfer-beach-campings.
We finally settled on looking inland and found this gem. Small but really well accommodated, value for money all the way. The place is perfect for young families with a kiddy pool and access to the riverbed. Or two adults (like us) looking for a family feel place to stay.
Some of the plots are a bit slanted (especially near the river), but most are pretty good!
The staff is very friendly and helpful, it has a bar with a small restaurant.
It's located pretty much at the foot of the Pyrenees, so prepare yourself for a harrowing drive through the one small and bendy road.
Access for large campers might be difficult if you consider that.
The camping boasts that the next village holds some shops and restaurants, but we never made it there.
